Working in partnership… to build the much needed Wicklow Hospice

Wicklow Hospice Foundation is a charity working to fund building the much needed Hospice for the people of Wicklow and surrounding areas. The Foundation’s ethos will be to deliver the highest possible standard of care allowing people to maintain their dignity and quality of life. Palliative care encompasses a patient’s mental, spiritual, physical and emotional needs.
There are a number of ways to get your company involved and make a real difference to the people of Wicklow. Some of our most popular methods of giving are listed below. If you have an idea that’s not listed please contact Sinead on 040 291310 or email [email protected]

Charity of the year partnerships:

Many companies like to choose a different charity to support each year. The charity in question benefits from the companies various fundraising efforts throughout the year. We can work with you to create a package – tailored to your specific needs. We would be delighted to come into your company and explain what it is we do and how your fundraising will help us build the new state of art Hospice.

Sponsorship & Donations:

Some companies like to just make a once off donation to a charity of their choice without organising any type of event. Many companies make a donation instead of buying gifts at Christmas for their clients. We can provide a letter and receipt which can be sent with a Christmas card stating a donation has been made in lieu of gifts.

Employee Fundraising:
We will help you to generate a programme of engaging fundraising activities, volunteer opportunities and activity that will motivate employees to help us raise much needed funds. Whether you have worked with a charity before or not, there’s something for everyone to get involved in.

Cause Related Marketing:
Let our trusted, recognised brand work for you! Cause Related Marketing is a commercial activity that sees a business and charity form a partnership to offer to market a product or service for a mutual benefit.

A Cone report, “Cause Evolution,” showed that 83% of people “wish more of the products, services and retailers they use would support causes”; 81% said they want companies to give them the opportunity to “buy a cause-related product”; and 80 percent said they’d be “likely to switch brands, about equal in price and quality, to one that supports a cause.

This type of partnership builds brand loyalty, increases company sales and shows a commitment to a very worthwhile cause.

Payroll Giving:
Payroll giving is a very convenient way for companies and their employees to give regularly with minimum effort. Giving in this way provides a reliable source of income to our charity for one year or more.
