Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services is extremely privileged to have the wonderful support of almost 400 volunteers. We simply could not provide the levels of excellent care that we do without their support. Our team of volunteers work in all areas of the organisation from fundraising to patient services supports. Unfortunately, during COVID-19, our volunteer programme is not at full capacity but we look forward to welcoming our volunteers back on site when safe to do so.
As Wicklow Hospice recently welcomed our first in-patients in December 2020, we are currently reviewing what our volunteer requirements will be as we hopefully begin to emerge from COVID-19 in the months ahead. If you would like to express an interest in volunteering with Wicklow Hospice when safe to do so – please contact one of our volunteer coordinators as below. We would also like to acknowledge the support of all our wonderful Wicklow Hospice volunteers over the last number of years and look forward to seeing them again soon.
Fundraising Volunteer opportunities
In fundraising, we have a variety of roles such as making telephone calls or helping to process orders for our large campaigns: Hospice Sunflower Days, Coffee Morning for Hospice Together with Bewley’s, and our fantastic Light Up a Life Christmas campaign.
